What We Do
We obtain private funding and endowments to augment the Murrieta Public Library's
ability to meet the cultural,
educational, informational, and recreational needs
of the Murrieta community.
To accomplish this objective, we solicit donations from
organizations and individuals
wishing to contribute to and endow activities of the
Murrieta Public Library.
The funding of the Murrieta Public Library is derived from
dedicated county taxes collected from Murrieta property owners and from the City
of Murrieta.
As new Library activities are developed, new funds sources must be found to meet
the costs associated with these new activities.
We provide funding for new and ongoing
Library Activities in its public areas, including the Community Room and outdoor
Garden of Verses.

The economic recession, combined with a declining property tax base and elimination of state funding, is causing a serious financial problem for our Library. We ask that you consider making a donation to the Murrieta Public Library Foundation so that we may together continue to support our Library.
