The Murrieta Public Library needs your help!


The Library is a true gem in our City.  It provides a plethora of information including education, career skills and recreation for everyone, young, old and in-between. The economic recession has vastly increased the use of the Library’s resources while, unfortunately, the property tax base which is its primary source of funding has declined. In addition, the elimination of state funding for local libraries will cost our Library $130,000 annually in lost revenue. This is a serious problem which is diminishing a valuable resource in our community for children and adults! The Foundation is going to the community to raise $500,000 over the next five years that will be placed in a permanent endowment fund to provide income in perpetuity, to assist our Library in maintaining its current programs and services, and to meet the growing future needs of our community.


To help us meet our campaign goal, we hope that you will consider making a gift to the Murrieta Public Library Foundation.
